Seoul Open Night to Feature Culture Pass-Accessible Shows and Free Tours

From noon to midnight on August 27th, Korea’s capital city, Seoul, will stage the 4th Seoul Open Night, a comprehensive performing and visual arts event featuring plays, music concerts, art classes and various cultural programs, at seven different locations throughout Korea’s capital city, Seoul. Visitors need only a 10,000-won Culture Pass card to attend any of the event programs held in Seoul PlazaBukchon,Insa-dongHongdaeDaehang-no, Samseong and Songpa. The Culture Pass cards can be purchased online on August 12th and 19th, or onsite if there are any left after the online sales.

Also, Seoul Metropolitan Government will operate four different types of tours. The Bus Tour explores the northern and southern parts of the city on a bus, visiting several Seoul attractions like Gwanghwanmun SquareSejong Center for the Performing Arts and Seoul Station. The Hangang Tour takes tourists on a water taxi ride to such Hangang River landmarks as Floating Island, Hannamdaegyo Bridge, Hangangdaegy Bridge and Rainbow Fountain. The other two tours are of valuable architecture and historical fortresses located throughout the city. All of the tours are free, and the participants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Meanwhile, the city will offer free shuttle bus services circulating the event venues between 16:00 and 24:00, and then to several different subway stations when the event ends.
