Autumn foliage in Korea comes in many different colors. While shades of red and yellow are the most prominent, one shimmers especially brilliantly. Waves of silver, rendered by lush Eulalia (a type of rice plant), can be found rolling on hillsides throughout the country. In celebration of such beautiful autumn scenery, the World Cup Park in Seoul will be holding the 10th annual Eulalia festival from October 14th to 23rd. During the festival period, diverse performances featuring a youth chorus, an orchestra, opera, contemporary rock, percussion and jazz music, as well as various hands-on experience programs will be held at Haneul and Noeul subsidiary parks. Moreover, visitors will have a chance to participate in an evening hike along Eulalia trails, or in golf tournaments. |
